 The most welcoming owner, who could do enough for us, add to that the flawless room, facilities, breakfast and location just off the most beautiful beach this is somewhere to return to! We stayed the previous night at another well known and much rated hotel but for us there was no comparison, we’ll be back !

We recently stayed in the Aalto suite for 5 nights. Everywhere we had stayed prior to this on our road trip had been wonderful and I wondered could it live up to my high expectations. It was even better than we could have hoped for. The suite was stunning - huge, full of light, equipped with everything you could wish for. The fridge was stocked with milk and fruit and there was loads of cookies, coffees and teas. Colleen the manageress could not have been more welcoming and helpful and John the chef made us some amazing treats for breakfast and made us a delicious packed lunch to take with us when we left. I cannot recommend the Lodge highly enough - we absolutely loved staying there and hope to come back as soon as possible
